cultivating hope when the season feels heavy.

In the midst of crisis and grief, I found myself learning that hope in God doesn't always mean an immediate remedy, a big answer or a sudden change in circumstances. Sometimes God shows us the next step quietly—in the presence of people who love us, in the faith that holds us when we don't have the strength to hold ourselves, and in the small, ordinary things that remind us that he is present and life is still growing.

For me, some of those reminders were plants.

I had about a dozen plants around my home, and in the midst of that difficult season, I began to really notice them. I sketched them. I painted them with watercolors. Within a matter of days, something that had started as a simple creative outlet became a way of slowing down, paying attention, and noticing life in a season when so much felt uncertain.

Those little plants became an unexpected picture of hope for me. They reminded me that God is in the small things and growth can happen quietly. That tending matters. That some seasons are about putting down roots, while others are about new growth. And that what looks still or dormant may not be lifeless at all.

Over time, I began to recognize that the same things I was learning through grief and change were true for your lives, too. You can be deeply affected by losses and transitions that don't always have a name. You can find yourselves asking who we are now, what matters in this season, and where God is leading you next.

Cultivate Hope Coaching grew from that place.

I have a desire to create space for you to slow down, take notice of what is happening within you, listen for the quiet whispers of the Lord, and tend to what this season is asking of you.

Because hope isn't about pretending the hard things aren't hard. It's about learning to notice where God is present—even here—and trusting Him with what is growing, what is changing, and what comes next.

The heart behind the coaching

Hi —I'm Jenean, the heart behind Cultivate Hope Coaching. I'm passionate about walking alongside women through seasons when life feels unfamiliar, complicated, or difficult to put into words. My own experiences with change and loss have deepened my understanding of the hidden grief that can accompany transitions—and of the hope that can grow even in hard and unexpected places.

As a coach, I bring compassion, curiosity, faith, and practical support to the coaching relationship. I don't believe you need someone to tell you what your life should look like. Instead, I want to create space for you to slow down, take notice of what is happening within you, and listen for the quiet whispers of the Lord.

Together, we can explore what you're carrying, what may need tending, what matters in this season, and what God may be inviting you toward. My hope is that coaching becomes a place where you can reconnect with yourself, deepen your awareness of God's presence, and take meaningful steps forward with greater clarity and hope.

Cultivate Hope grew from the belief that even when we can't change what has happened, we can tend what is here, nurture what is growing, and trust God with what comes next.
